Okay, so we know we'd be sunk without our laptops and cell phones. But what about the car? Cars have batteries too. Perhaps you ride a Harley Davidson - not without a motorcycle battery! It's interesting to think where we'd be if the afore-mentioned lithium ion stocks zapping episode took place. We know that our forefathers coped without batteries but could we?
I recently submitted an article to Smartphone and Pocket PC magazine on some of the tools I recommend for mobile productivity. I mentioned a portable scanner and printer Lithium mines Ontario that I try to avoid toting unless I know for certain I will need them. That was before CES and my discovery of an incredible pair of products from PlanOn with its DocuPen and petite printer.
Design: The Asus Eee PC T91MT measures at 8.9 x 6.5 x 1 inches and weighs just 2.1 pounds. It has an all-white glossy white finish that is only contrasted with a black screen bezel (frame). The touch pad area is gray/silver in color. Overall, this little tablet netbook has a very chic and fashionable appearance, perfect for any style conscious PC users.
It is good to know that even when your cordless drill is turned off, it would still draw a little energy form the batteries. This may not be a significant amount but when you add that over a period of time, you will be losing a lot of Lithium battery stocks power this way. Therefore, do not store your cordless drill with the battery intact. Remove it and put it aside.
But that means that laptops need to have bigger batteries and bigger batteries mean bigger size. Laptops won't be portable and convenient to carry in this case. That's the reason why laptops have compact batteries that gives it a sleek look. But these batteries don't have good battery-life.
Cordless Drills are not cheap tools. Amazingly more than half of the cost of the tool goes to a couple of these batteries. This is understandable when you consider what these batteries can do. It is these batteries that have made the tool so highly convenient to use. You can carry it to the job site anywhere without worry about power cords or outlets. That can be a big hassle because the extension cords can easily get in the way or not being long enough.
